Capturing the memories of your newborn and baby is so important, as these precious moments are fleeting and pass by in the blink of an eye. Each stage of your baby's growth is filled with unique milestones that are worth cherishing, and I can help tell their story through a series of timeless photographs. The best time to capture your newborn is ideally before they are 3 weeks old, as this period allows for those sleepy, peaceful photos of your baby’s tiniest features. These early moments, with their soft little hands, delicate faces, and deep sleep, are ones you’ll never want to forget. As your baby grows, the next milestone to capture is the sitter session, usually around 6-9 months, when they’re starting to sit up on their own. This is a wonderful time to preserve their developing personality, their curious expressions, and their delightful interactions with the world.
Finally, the 1st birthday and cake smash session offers a fantastic opportunity to celebrate their first year and capture their reaction to tasting cake for the very first time. This is one of the most fun and memorable milestones to document, filled with laughter, excitement, and a little mess! These sessions create adorable keepsakes that you’ll treasure for a lifetime, reminding you of just how quickly those first precious years go by.

What should we bring to the session?
All you need to bring a long to your session is you, baby and baby bag. If you have however requested a silver or gold package, you have the option to change newborn/baby into multiple outfit changes, these will need to be provided by you. I do have some outfit options available at my home studio which you will have access too, however these are for certain ages which I cannot be certain will fit your little one.
How can I prepare for my session?
I ask ahead of time if you will wait for your newborn/baby's next feed till you get to the studio. The reason I ask this is hangry baby's are harder to photographs and settle, than those who have a full belly, ready to either sleep or interact.
Do you use props?
I do use props for your sessions! You are more than welcome to request a specific prop you may like in a set up, such as little cushioned chair or basket. I always ask my clients if you have any personal items that you would want to include in a photograph, this could be a first teddy or a meaningful toy, feel free to bring these a long.
